Sparx Power & Data is a group of bright commercial electricians – but its logo was over 10 years old and didn’t accurately represent the teams experience and knowledge. Sparx Power & Data needed branding that would instantly communicate its values of reliability, honesty, expertise, professionalism and attentiveness. Hence, they came to us for a rebrand that would connect with the target audience.

Initially, we spent time understanding Sparx Power & Data’s position in the market, brand identity and tone of voice. Based on this insight, we chose a simple colour palette of gradient blues and charcoal and a bold, clear typeface to convey Sparx Power & Data’s open, reliable and professional approach to electrical work. The ‘fibre optic spark’ logo element blends the idea of data flow and power to reflect the primary services.

The outcome

Sparx Power & Data’s new branding – which has just come to light on its uniforms and vehicle signage – looks pretty bang-on, if we do say so ourselves!
