Andrew Glynn, a highly regarded Audiologist with over 15 years’ experience,
founded Hear In Karingal in 2021. With a strong vision for his business, Andrew approached PIER to develop and give life to Hear In Karingal to life. Having grown up in East Gippsland, Andrew is quintessentially “Australian” and brings a sense of community, care, authenticity and expertise to Hear In Karingal. Our job was to capture this in the brand’s identity, logo, collateral and website. Grab your Akubra and let’s go on a branding adventure.
I was so excited to launch Hear In Karingal. PIER helped me bring the brand to life better than I ever imagined – everything was spot on.



To completely understandAndrew’s vision, we began by outlining a brand positioning statement – whatHear In Karingal should be known for and why it exists. This allowed the logodesign to be developed from a place of clarity and purpose. The logo isgrounded and simple: combining the visual cue of an ear with a clearrepresentation of Australia, it tells potential customers that Hear In Karingalis for all Aussies.
With an establishedbrand identity, we started designing the launch collateral – business cards,appointment cards, GP referral pad, email signatures, social media images, letterheadand clinic signage. The ‘wavelength’ brand element is carried through allcollateral pieces for continuity. It’s made up of blues and greens to give theimpression of calmness and reliability, while the burnt sunset colour addscontrast, inspired by the Australian outback.
To complete the HearIn Karingal brand, we took it online with a custom-built website. The websitehad to do three things – demonstrate Hear In Karingal’s positioning, communicatethe services available and allow users to book with ease. With a strategic sitemapand thorough wireframes, we ticked all those boxes and more, developing awebsite that is quintessentially Hear In Karingal.

The outcome
Upon clinic opening, Hear In Karingal was launched with confidence and pride. Andrew’s ideas were interpreted beautifully, both offline and online.
