Nailing brand identity

Mick Pritchard (MP) builds impressive high-end homes and commercial properties on the Mornington Peninsula.

MP wanted its brand to accurately represent its positioning, online and offline, and to gain more awareness and recognition in the market. To achieve this, MP needed to identify its unique selling proposition (USP) and what it is that makes them memorable and stand out from other builders.

We put our building hats on and got to work, starting with a marketing strategy to identify what makes MP different and crafting a roadmap of how to achieve strong brand presence amongst the target audience. Nailing the brand positioning was key at this point as it would inform all activity going forward.Based on the marketing strategy insight, we designed a modern and edgy type-based logo to place emphasis on the business name. The lines used are representative of the open communication and precision that MP is known for.

Expanding on the new logo, we created multiple stationery and collateral items, staff uniforms and a special client handover box presented at project completion. The MP handover box is crafted out of timber material from each build, becoming a keepsake for proud homeowners. Taking the brand online, we developed a new MP website ensuring the brand positioning was accurately communicated through both design and functionality. Alongside this, we set up relevant social media channels and designed the launch posts to give followers a feel for MP’s quality.
