The dream lifestyle awaits

Woodlands Estate at Amberlee (Woodlands) is brand-new sanctuary style accommodation for over 55s based in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula.

The business is owned and operated by the Neary family, who approached PIER to help bring their vision to life so they could start selling homes. Although the built environment didn’t exist yet, they needed to show potential residents what Woodlands has to offer – a welcoming and serene place to live and retire.

To evoke feelings of friendliness and tranquillity, the Woodlands branding needed to reflect the environment. Grass trees are scattered throughout the Rosebud property, so naturally we incorporated a soft and organic illustration into the logo design to complement the natural bush setting. We selected curved typography that is modern with a hint of whimsical flourishes to create a lively feel.

This rationale was carried through to the website with a simple and effective design. The key priorities when setting out the site wireframes were to communicate the process of purchasing a home at Woodlands and to convey the uniqueness of the estate. These two significant items needed to be clear and easy for users to understand. We utilised home render images to give people an idea of the available designs.

To remain professional in all aspects of communication, Woodlands needed a large suite of marketing collateral. We started with the standard stationery items – email signature, business card, letterhead – then we moved to specific sales tools including a sales brochure, home brochures with floor plans and an estate map. To complete the collection and ensure continuity, we designed a front entrance sign and street signs.

The outcome

The Woodlands business was successfully brought into existence! We helped the team confidently communicate their offering with the right tools. As a result, home sales began to kick off.
