Summer Snow Juice (SSJ) came to PIER for support to grow sales of its apple juice product range through grocery distribution, hospitality venues and online direct to consumers.
We needed to get closer (to the core, you might say) to ensure the marketing approach integrated with the business strategy. Cue workshops, sales process mapping and targeted planning. From this deep understanding, we developed a marketing strategy identifying the best way to push product through hospitality and retail, and create demand amongst consumers.

Driving shopper awareness was critical to create product demand, so we implemented monthly social media content plans with targeted advertising to get the SSJ message out to the target audience. This drove considered traffic to a brand-new Shopify website resulting in an increase of online sales.
Meanwhile we worked with SSJ to secure product tastings in supermarket powerhouses, Woolworths and Ritchies IGA, tantalising the taste buds of potential customers and increasing brand awareness. B2B support included the creation of a robust sales process and tools including pitches, sell-in packs and new collateral, all lifting brand presentation when talking to potential cafe stockists.
We took sales further with 60 more outlets stocking SSJ apple juice, a four-fold increase in online consumer sales and a social media following increase by 136%. All within two months of launch. How do you like them apples?
